Buzzing Meetup with our Wedding Planner

On monday , we met Evelyn , our wedding planner from Forevermore Events  . A vendor i've collaborated with for a few wedding assignments and we love how she facilitated and helped couples to beautifully plan a wedding.

Our first meetup which way back months ago , was more on overview .Overall concept, color theme , what we're looking for random ideas with Evelyn showing us some inspiration board to help us visualize.. well both me and my "ahemm" husband -to - be are visual people more than textual . He is an Interior Designer and me a wedding photographer .  But having a chirpy , chatty girl (me) , we discussed until the restaurant closed it's doors . Supposedly a short one , this chatterbox lengthen the whole process cause "we" had too much ideas all over the place!

And that point of time , we knew - having a Wedding Planner is the right thing to do to get ourselves focused! -or - we will never get anything done! And we were glad we engage someone with such great  vibe and ideas .

Second Meetup  (27/08) - from the ideas we discussed previously ..it has been gathered into little nuggets . And surprisingly we manage to firm
- the not so usual "guestbook"
- wedding card designs (which is very closely related to our passion)
- wedding favor (by my dear friend chin pei) and a super cute box design to compliment it more!
- and some gimmicks we cannot disclose until our important guests attend the wedding :)
and lots more..

Not bad for the 2nd round . At least we got some decisions made and deliverables ready to proceed.

Now finding time to
- location survey
- food tasting
- hotel bookings for outstation guest
- gown & heels shopping (this i like BEST!)

Slightly a bit worried /"kancheong" as we still have 4 wedding assignments to capture before our own ..I shall need to really manage my time properly and also hope i don't look like a zombie when it's near to the day.  Well , all this buzz and excitement this 3 months will be a once in lifetime experience i'll never forget!
